2010 Winter Olympic Games Dinner

There's this semi-tradition I started with some friends of my during the 2004 Summer Olympics. We like to make the food of the host country and eat it while watching the Opening Ceremonies. That first year, The Olympics were held in Athens, Greece. We were a little ambitious in choosing our recipes. I don't think we finished until Uganda was walking in the Parade of Nations. It was a good time though.

This year, the meal was a bit simpler. We made Maple Glazed Salmon, "Rustic" Potatoes, and Brussel Sprouts. It's the most Canadian we could get. It was a great meal and a fun time to share with friends.

So it begins . . .

I love photography. I like blogging. So I am combining both hobbies into one. I am going to try and start a side photography business. You can see the photos I have available for prints at marissagarzaphoto.com. You can all see more of my photos at my flickr stream. Until the next post, thanks for stopping by!
